Never hype up a Texas Rangers pitcher

Some of the Texas Rangers drew short straws and were forced to bus over to Peoria, Arizona to get their first look at the Seattle Mariners today.

RHP Jharel Cotton will make the start for Texas while Seattle will counter with LHP Justus Sheffield.

Look for Yerry Rodriguez, Jimmy Herget, Brett de Geus, Hans Crouse, Alex Speas, and Joe Gatto to also get in some innings in what is expected to be the weirdest spring training game yet with only Texas set to bat in the 8th inning of a planned 7 12 inning affair.
