MLB: Texas Rangers at Chicago Cubs Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning, LSB.

The Rangers defeated the White Sox 3-2 yesterday as Spring Training continues on.

Evan Grant has a piece up on some possible tension between manager Chris Woodward and pitcher Jordan Lyles, who started yesterday but who is uncertain or unhappy with his projected role on the team.

Texas played a B game yesterday as well against the Cubs, and Kennedi Landry has some notes on Dane Dunning’s start in that game.

Landry also has notes on the Rangers minor league moves and an update on a projected starting rotation.

Grant has a piece up on those roster moves as well, mentioning a most interesting exception from the rest of the youngsters who were sent down yesterday.

Grant also continues his prospect rankings with #16 on his list, Rangers shortstop Anderson Tejeda.

Levi Weaver has the next in his positional outlook series, taking a look at all the possible candidates for Rangers’ third baseman.

Kyle Gibson politely tiptoes around talking about how stupid of a decision his organization is making regarding Opening Day.

Jeff Wilson has a piece up that I was sure was a Mac Engel article just from reading the headline.

On all these minor league moves, Andrew Baggarly at The Athletic talks about the oddity of sending your minor league dudes down when you’re not totally sure when or where they’ll be playing.

And have some elite Greinke stories.

Have a good weekend, and spring forward tonight.
