Texas Rangers minor league outfielder Bayron Lora has been released from the hospital in the Dominican Republic, it was announced today.

The 18 year old, who was signed by the Rangers as part of their 2019 J-2 class, was involved in an accident in the Dominican Republic yesterday. Initial reports indicated that he was in serious condition and one passenger in the vehicle died. Photos from Hector Gomez indicate that Lora was driving a pickup truck that appeared to be in a single vehicle crash off the road.
