Good morning, LSB.
The Rangers continued the Spring Training slog yesterday with a 12-9 win over the Reds.
Kennedi Landry has notes from the game, specifically on the big couple of nights from Khris Davis.
Evan Grant has some brief notes on the sudden Davis power surge as well.
Grant also has a piece up on the surprisingly strong performances by Ranger pitching thus far into Spring Training.
Jeff Wilson has five questions the Rangers need to answer with two weeks left before Opening Day.
Large pitcherman Kyle Cody comes in at number 12 on EG’s Ranger prospect countdown.
Jim Bowden has a list of five trades he’d like to see before Opening Day, suggesting the Rangers and the Cardinals get together on a Gallo deal.
And finally, the Rangers have put together a fellowship program under the name of the late Charley Pride that will be “geared toward applicants of diverse backgrounds.”
As someone noted to Levi Weaver on Twitter, the Rangers putting this together is undoubtedly a great gesture, but planning in two weeks to have a full-house, no holds barred Opening Day that will serve as a potential super-spreader event for the disease that killed Charley Pride....doesn’t really seem to mesh. Add it to the list, I guess.
That’s all for today. Be good people.
