The Texas Rangers make their true road debut in Arizona as they travel to Glendale to take on the Chicago White Sox at Camelback Ranch.
It should be an intriguing contest as Texas will get its first look at right-handed Japanese import Kohei Arihara with hurlers such as Kyle Cody and Cole Winn set to make their hotly-anticipated spring debuts on the mound.
Meanwhile, the White Sox will counter by tossing their ace Lucas Giolito at Texas. Righty Giolito finished just below new teammate and former Ranger Lance Lynn in the 2020 AL Cy Young voting. Teammate Dallas Keuchel finished just above Lynn to give presumed AL favorites Chicago three of the top seven 2020 vote-getters in their 2021 rotation.
A lineup:
Tues. vs. CWS in Glendale: Calhoun 7, Kiner-Falefa 6, Gallo 9, Davis DH, Solak 4, Guzman 3, White 8, Holt 5, Butera 2, Arihara 1
