Good morning, LSB.

The whittling down of the Rangers’ Spring Training roster continues as both Leody Taveras and Eli White have been told they’ve made the Opening Day roster.

Delino DeShields, on the other hand, did not.

Also making the team is veteran Brock Holt, whose leadership is a perfect fit for this Rangers team, says Evan Grant.

Jesse Sanchez also has an update on Holt, who grew up in Stephenville and is a lifelong Rangers fan.

Jeff Wilson says there are still four pitchers on the Rangers ST roster who are waiting to hear if they’ve made the team or not.

Evan Grant continues his Rangers prospect countdown with #7 on the list, Dane Dunning, who Grant expects to pitch 120-140 big league innings this season.

The Athletic lists the 2021 attendance policies for each Major League ballpark. The Rangers are singled out in the headline, probably not a good sign.

FanGraphs continues their positional power rankings with a look at left field, where, like at shortstop, the Rangers are projected to be in the toilet. And as with their SS rankings, I disagree.

And MLB dot com lists some dark-horse MVP candidates. Joey Gallo is like a really dark horse, I guess.

That’s all for this morning. Happy Friday!
