We have real live, meaningful, counts-in-the-standings baseball tomorrow, as the Texas Rangers kick off what is expected to be a difficult 2021 season at Kansas City against the Royals.
Its a true rebuilding year, as the Rangers have acknowledged contention is not expected this year, that player development and finding out who can be a contributor to the next winning Rangers team is the focus. There will be a lot of young players taking the field for the Rangers, some of which will flame out, some of whom — we hope at least — will show that they can be building blocks, or at least useful pieces, going forward.
This is a two-part post.
First, there’s a poll below for you to vote on how many wins you think the Rangers will end up this year.
Second, in the comments, should you so desire, offer up whatever predictions you feel like making about the coming season.
