Good morning, folks...
The Texas Rangers fell to the San Diego Padres yesterday by a score of 7-4.
The DMN’s game story notes that, hey, at least the Rangers didn’t get no-hit.
Nate Lowe had a ball go through the webbing of his glove yesterday, something that happened to Curtis Terry as well during spring training.
There was apparently a discussion on the Rangers bench about unwritten rules during a no hitter when the Padres were shifting against Anderson Tejeda on Friday, opening things up for a possible bunt, though Chris Woodward said, given his history, he wasn’t the right person to comment on unwritten rules issues in games against the Padres.
Chris Woodward said being no-hit was humbling, but responding to the no-hitter was also a good test for the team.
