Texas Rangers lineup for April 17, 2021 against the Baltimore Orioles: starting pitchers are Dane Dunning for the Rangers and Dean Kremer for the Orioles.
The Rangers square off against the Orioles again tonight after last night’s wet fart of a game, and Brock Holt and Willie Calhoun are both in the lineup, which means each is being activated today. Adolis Garcia is also in the lineup and playing center field, while Anderson Tejeda and Leody Taveras are not in the lineup...that may be a tell as to who is going to be sent down to open up spots on the active roster.
Also, I’m not sure if they are doing the tandem thing today, or if they are, who is being paired with Dunning. Taylor Hearn was his tag team partner his first two starts, but Hearn also pitched two nights ago. It was only 12 pitches, but still, one has to wonder if Dunning is going to be used in a traditional starter role, or if they may be pairing up John King with him today.
The lineup:
Holt — 3B
Lowe — 1B
Gallo — RF
Garcia — CF
Dahl — LF
Solak — 2B
Calhoun — DH
Culberson — SS
Heim — C
