Frisco was rained out so we have just three minor league games for this update.
Round Rock bats continue to tear things up, winning 10-2 against Oklahoma City. Curtis Terry had two singles and a double, raising his average to .458 on the year. Leody Taveras had a single and a double, Yonny Hernandez had a pair of doubles and a walk, Carl Chester had a single and a triple along with a walk, and Yohel Pozo homered.
Justin Slaten started for Hickory had gave up two runs on a pair of hits, including a homer, and a walk in three innings, striking out four. Ty Thomas had three innings with an unearned run allowed with 5 Ks.
Justin Foscue and Chris Seise each picked up singles, Jonathan Ornelas had a double and Blaine Crim registered his fourth home run of the year.
Down East went to 7-0 with a 2-1 win over Carolina. Abdiel Mendoza struck out 8 while allowing 0 walks, 3 hits and 1 run in 4 IP. Nic Laio, whoever that is, struck out 7 in 3 IP while walking 1 and allowing one hit.
Evan Carter went 0 for 4 with 2 Ks, so we can go back to calling him a wasted pick I guess. Cody Freeman picked up a pair of hits, and Keyber Rodriguez and Dustin Harris each had a hit. Luisangel Acuna and Jayce Easley each had two walks.
