Minor league update for May 14, 2021

There were some good performances and some not good ones today

The Down East Wood Ducks dropped their second game of the season, though losing pitcher T.K. Roby had a solid outing. Roby went 3 IP, and allowed one run on one hit (a home run) while walking one and striking out 3. Evan Carter had four plate appearances and walked once while striking out three times. Dustin Harris had two hits while Keithron Moss and Keyber Rodriguez had a hit apiece.

Hickory also fell, and logged just four hits. Chris Seise had one of them. Miguel Aparicio had a double. Kole Enright had a double and two walks.

For Frisco, Yerry Rodriguez struck out 5 and walked 1 in 3 hitless shutout innings. Hever Bueno struck out one and walked one in 1.2 IP. Fernery Ozuna gave up an unearned run on a walk and hit, striking out two. Steele Walker had a pair of doubles and a home run. Ryan Dorow had a pair of hits. Bubba Thompson and Davis Wendzel each had a hit.

Round Rock also fell. Jake Lemoine threw two scoreless with two walks and two Ks. Carl Chester had three hits. Jason Martin had two hits.
