Texas Rangers lineup for May 23, 2021 against the Houston Astros: starting pitchers are Mike Foltynewicz for the Rangers and Cristian Javier for the Astros.

The Rangers are looking for a sweep against the Astros in this three game (rather than four game, as I said in last night’s Thoughts post) series. For the second day in a row a former Astro takes the mound for Texas, with Mike Foltynewicz seeing if he can get his command demons under control and do a better job avoiding the middle of the plate than he has the last few outings.
