MLB: Texas Rangers at Seattle Mariners Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning, LSB. Pretty rough night for DFW sportsball.

The Rangers fell again to the Mariners last night 3-2. Evan Grant has notes from Texas’ tenth straight road loss.

Chris Woodward says the Rangers are struggling to put a complete game together.

Kennedi Landry touches on the strong start out of Jordan Lyles in the loss.

Grant starts a frank discussion about the longterm plans for the Rangers and Joey Gallo.

On a positive note, Willie Calhoun has been playing not-terrible defense in left field so far this year.

And Jeff Wilson is the first I’ve seen to sincerely suggest Adolis Garcia MVP candidacy.

Elsewhere, Jim Bowden says the Yankees need to be aggressive at the deadline and suggests a trade for a Rangers outfielder. Not the one you might think.

And the Angels and A’s had a fairly uneventful bench-clearing last night.

That’s all for this morning. The Rangers and Mariners go at it again tonight at 9:10. Have a good weekend.
