MILB THREAD: 5/3 - 5/16

LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

For the first time in well over a year, we have minor league baseball boys and girls! With the new season comes some shakeups, namely that we all have to get used to the Hickory Crawdads being a high-A team and the Down East Wood Ducks being the low-A team!

As of the publication of this fanpost, the probable pitchers for the lads have not been posted.

Here's a link to all of the rosters:

So, LSBians, who are the prospects you are most excited to see this year? Who are your breakout prospect predictions, (and no, Evan Carter does not count)? Which Rangers' prospect do you defy the consensus on? To my friends that live in Texas, how often do yall think you'll get to Dr. Pepper Ballpark in Frisco? For you dorks in Austin, how often will you get out to the Dell Diamond? And lastly, to our rare friends in the Carolinas, will you make it out to many games in Hickory and Kinston?

And now, with all that out of the way, I would like all of you to join me in a moment of silence for losing one of the most storied franchises in American sports, the Spokane Indians. For many years, that short season A ball squad was the most exciting league to follow. The players were so young that the dreams were still alive, the uniforms were slick, the announcers were competent, and the stadium was lovely. RIP Spokane Indians. I hope the Colorado Rockies treat you right. I doubt it, but I hope.
