The Texas Rangers scored four runs and the Seattle Mariners scored five runs.
Because of BS Southwest, I was not able to watch this game so I’ll have to take Gameday’s word for it.
After the Rangers started the season 0-2, they were able to return to .500 baseball at 3-3 by April 7. With a loss the following night, the Rangers have been below .500 ever since with chances to even their record four separate times in April. They lost each one of those games and had to battle back for another shot tonight against the Mariners.
Well, make it five straight missed opportunities as Texas drops to 16-18.
Player of the Game: Nate Lowe hit his 7th dong of the season which puts him in a three-way tie with Nick Solak and Adolis Garcia for the team lead.
Up Next: The Rangers will play the Mariners again tomorrow night with RHP Kohei Arihara making his return for Texas against a Mariner starter to be named. Saturday’s first pitch from The Shed is scheduled for 6:05 pm CT.
