Good morning, LSB.

The Rangers lost to the Mariners 5-4 last night.

Sam Blum has yesterday’s game story, noting that the Rangers are yet to win on a Friday night this season.

Kennedi Landry writes that the Rangers weren’t able to pull a comeback out of their Texas-flag colored hats.

Evan Grant writes about the Rangers’ hiring of Baseball Savant’s Daren Willman.

Blum also has various Rangers quickhits, most notably that the team has surpassed the league’s 85% vaccination threshold and will be permitted to loosen their covid-19 restrictions within two weeks.

Jeff Wilson has a piece up on Rangers’ closer Ian Kennedy, who currently leads the AL in saves.

The Rangers are expected to activate outfielder/DH Khris Davis at some point this weekend.

We had our fourth no-hitter of 2021 pitched last night, this time by Reds’ career journeyman Wade Miley.

And the Mets maybe got in a fight with each other last night, or maybe just saw a rat in the tunnel.

That’s all for this morning. Have a good weekend.
