It’s everyone’s favorite of the day, minor league update time...

Down East saw Nick Krauth get the start today. In 3 IP he allowed one run on three hits and two walks, striking out five. Marc Church allowed two runs in an inning of work on two hits, including a home run, and a walk, striking out two.

Evan Carter was 0 for 2 with three walks. Luisangel Acuna was 3 for 5 with a double. Keyber Rodriguez had a hit and three walks. Thomas Saggese had a walk.

Avery Weems started for Hickory and went 3.1 IP, allowing four runs on four hits and two walks, striking out four. Seth Nordlin allowed a run in 4 IP, with one walk and five Ks.

David Garcia had a pair of hits and a walk. Blaine Crim had a homer and a single. Jonathan Ornelas had a hit. Kellen Strahm had a single and a walk.

Jake Latz started for Frisco. He went 4 IP, allowing two runs on four hits and three walks, striking out six. Tyler Phillips, who was just activated from the injured list where he had landed due to a sore elbow, only faced three batters, but that appears to be because the team didn’t want to send him back out after a lengthy delay due to a lighting malfunction. Hever Bueno allowed two runs in 2.1 IP on three hits and two walks, striking out two.

Ryan Dorow had a double and a homer. Anderson Tejeda and Matt Whatley each had doubles. J.P. Martinez had a single.

Newly claimed Tyson Miller made his debut in the Rangers system, allowing three runs on three hits, including a homer, and an HBP in three innings of work, striking out three. Jason Bahr followed Miller but was pulled after just three hitters, two of whom he walked. Luis Ortiz allowed two runs in 2 IP. Jimmy Herget had two shutout innings, striking out three. Jacob Lemoine had a pair of strikeouts in an inning of work. Joe Barlow struck out three in a scoreless inning.

Andy Ibanez had a pair of doubles and a homer. Yonny Hernandez had a single and a double. Leody Taveras had a pair of hits. Charles Leblanc had a single and a homer.
