25-43 - Rangers give up a bunch of home runs, get swept in Houston

At least they didn’t lose via a walkoff grand slam this time

MLB: Texas Rangers at Houston Astros Thomas Shea-USA TODAY Sports

The Texas Rangers scored four runs while the Houston Astros hit six home runs on their way to eight runs.

I’m starting to worry that the Rangers might not win the Silver Boot.

Player of the Game: Eli White hit a couple of solo dingers — the first two of his big league career, in fact — so that was pretty neat.

Up Next: The Rangers have tomorrow off before opening up a ten-game homestand beginning with a weekend set against the Minnesota Twins starting on Friday night at The Shed.
