The Twins start for Saturday is currently TBD but Kolby Allard will take the mound for Texas. Allard has forced himself into the rotation this season. This will be Allard’s second game against the Twins but his first start. He pitched 2.1 innings against them in May and gave up three runs on five hits and struck out two.

In his previous start he went four innings, allowed just one run on three hits and three walks and struck out seven. In May, he went 5.1 innings against Texas and gave up no runs on two hits and two walks and struck out eight.

Dane Dunning will get the start for the Rangers, this will be his third career start against the Twins, second of this season. He has a 2.13 ERA and 0.79 WHIP in 12.2 innings pitched against Minnesota.
