22-35 - Did the Texas Rangers win tonight? The answer probably won’t surprise you

lol no they didn’t

MLB: Texas Rangers at Colorado Rockies Isaiah J. Downing-USA TODAY Sports

The Texas Rangers scored three runs and the Colorado Rockies scored six runs.

The Rangers led 1-0 and 3-2 at various points in this game as they tried desperately to put this losing skid behind them but each time it looked like they were reaching out to snatch victory, the perhaps even lowlier Colorado squad would slap their hand away.

If you’re confused, no, the Texas Rangers didn’t win tonight.

And so, Texas has lost eight consecutive games and 14 consecutive games on the road and are a million games under .500 to the point that it isn’t even worth noting anymore and they have a real shot at a winless nine-game road trip — which seems practically impossible — if they can’t pull out a win tomorrow.

Player of the Game: I don’t know man Isiah Kiner-Falefa had a couple of hits

Up Next: The Rangers will close out this series and calamitous road trip against the Rockies with RHP Mike Foltynewicz set to make the start for Texas against LHP Austin Gomber for Colorado. Thursday’s finale first pitch from Coors Field is scheduled for 2:10 pm CT.
