Monday Morning Texas Rangers Update

Drop-kicking you into another week of Texas Rangers baseball

MLB: Minnesota Twins at Texas Rangers Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning.

Randy Jennings writes about the Texas Rangers dropping another game on Sunday as the offense and starter Dane Dunning teamed up for a 4-2 loss to the Minnesota Twins.

Jeff Wilson writes that the results in the standings are matching up with expectations for this season but that silver linings are becoming increasingly harder to find as the losses pile up.

Kennedi Landry notes that a couple of those silver linings from yesterday were Joey Gallo and Adolis Garcia who each homered in the Father’s Day finale.

Jennings writes about the glorious death of the sac bunt where Texas’ low total of nine is still middle of the pack and a failure to execute one cost the team the other night so maybe the AL’s worst scoring team should abandon the practice of giving outs away for free altogether but that’s just one man’s opinion.

And, the MLB dot com writers pick near-future All-Star for each team with Landry tabbing Isiah Kiner-Falefa for next in line for the Rangers.

Have a nice day!
