A.J. Alexy was supposed to start for Frisco, though like his last time out, another starter — this time Hans Crouse — pitched the first before Alexy came in. Crouse allowed two runs in an inning of work due to a single and a home run. He struck out one batter. Alexy allowed a run on four hits, including a home run, with three walks and two Ks in 4.2 IP.
Rehabbing David Dahl had two hits, Steele Walker had two doubles, Josh Stowers had two walks, and Bubba Thompson homered.
Brock Burke started for Round Rock. He allowed two runs in 3.2 IP, striking out six and walking one. The game is currently delayed due to rain in the top of the fifth, and I’m not staying up to see if it resumes tonight.
Leody Taveras has a homer and a walk. Curtis Terry has a double. Jax Biggers was promoted to AAA today and is starting at 2B.
