MLB: Texas Rangers at Colorado Rockies
The Rangers need Baseball Purell.

Good morning, LSB. Boy is it nice to be home.

The Rangers capped off their historically bad roadtrip yesterday by losing to the Colorado Rockies 11-6, Texas’ ninth straight defeat.

Jeff Wilson has an succinct summarization of the current state of Rangers baseball.

Wilson also writes about the team meeting the Rangers had after consecutive loss number eight, which, yknow, didn’t really turn things around.

Elsewhere, the Rangers will be commemorating Lou Gehrig Day before the game tonight, as they were on the road for the official mark.

Kyle Gibson is set to return tonight and start against the Rays.

MLB Pipeline lists a pitching prospect (if there is such a thing) for each team that’s off to a hot 2021 start.

And Keith Law redrafts the 2011 draft class.

That’s all for this morning. The Rangers thankfully return home today for the start of a five game homestand. They’ll take on the Rays tonight at 7:05. Have a nice day!
