Minor league update for 6/4/21

Down East played a pair, with Wyatt Sparks going in the opener and allowing three runs in two innings of work. Gavin Collyer allowed a run in two innings on a hit and three walks, striking out two. Nick Lockhart had two shutout innings, striking out one.

Luisangel Acuna had a homer and a single, Dustin Harris had a pair of walks, a stolen base and a single, Keithron Moss had a double, and Jayce Easley and Evan Carter each had singles.

In Game Two, T.K. Roby struck out 8 in five innings of work, allowing five hits and one run while walking one. Dustin Harris had three hits, Evan Carter and Luisangel Acuna each had two hits, and Cody Freeman and Keyber Rodriguez each had hits.

Frisco had Hans Crouse on the mound, and he allowed a lone run on a first inning bomb, striking out four in three innings and walking one. Tyler Thomas threw two innings, allowing one run on three hits, including a home run, and two walks, striking out three. Joe Gatto threw two scoreless innings, allowing a walk and two hits while striking out three. Cole Uvila had two shutout innings, walking one and striking out three.

Josh Stowers and Steele Walker each homered.
