Cole Winn started for Frisco but had a rocky outing — he allowed just three hits in 3.2 IP, but all three were home runs. That resulted in five runs scored, with four walks and five Ks. Hever Bueno allowed two hits and a walk in 1.1 IP, with one unearned run scoring. One of those hits was a triple by Bobby Witt, Jr., that should have been a home run, but Witt didn’t touch home plate, so it was a triple and an out. Ty Thomas went 3 IP, allowing 1 run on two hits and a walk, striking out one. Cole Uvila threw a scoreless inning, striking out Witt Jr. and Nick Pratto swinging.

Sherten Apostel was 3 for 3 with a home run. Steele Walker was 3 for 4 with a home run. Dio Arias homered.
