Ready for a big steaming helping of minor league action?

Wyatt Sparks got the start for Down East tonight and went 6 IP, allowing one run on a home run, with one walk and four Ks. Joe Corbett struck out two in an inning.

Evan Carter had a single, a double and a walk. Jayce Easley had two singles and a stolen base. Thomas Saggese had a hit, Dustin Harris had a triple, and Luisangel Acuna had two hits and a steal.

For Hickory, Justin Slaten started but had issues, giving up 7 runs in 3 IP. Sean Chandler struck out five and allowed one hit in three shutout innings.

David Garcia had three hits, Miguel Aparicio had two hits, Blaine Crim and Jose Acosta each had a walk and a hit, and Jonathan Ornelas had a hit.
