Hickory played two on Saturday after a Friday rainout. Zak Kent started Game One and allowed four runs in five innings of work, walking three, striking out two and allowing two home runs.
Jake Guenther and Blaine Crim each homered. Miguel Aparicio doubled and homered. David Garcia had a hit.
Game Two, Avery Weems started and struck out six in five innings of work while walking two. He also gave up five runs.
Miguel Aparicio had a double and a walk and currently has a 923 OPS on the year. He’s 22 years old and is considered a very good defensive outfielder. This is an interesting development from him.
Frainyer Chavez and Blaine Crim each had a hit and a walk. Jonathan Ornelas had a hit.

Down East had Nick Krauth start. Krauth allowed four runs in four innings of work with eight hits allowed, including a home run, two walks and two strikeouts. Marc Church struck out three in 1.2 scoreless innings.
Dustin Harris homered. Angel Aponte had a single and a double. Keithron Moss had a walk and a double. Cody Freeman and Luisangel Acuna each walked.
Justin Foscue is back on the Hickory roster after a rehab stint in Arizona, but didn’t play today. He may be in transit after playing for the ACL Rangers yesterday.

Yerry Rodriguez started for Frisco. He struck out seven and walked two in five innings, allowing three runs. Blake Bass struck out one in one scoreless inning. Nick Snyder struck out two in two scoreless innings.
