A big night for Justin Foscue and a walk off Frisco win

Down East rolled with Gavin Collyer as their starter on Tuesday. Collyer allowed five runs in four innings on five hits and four walks, striking out five. Leury Tejada allowed a run in three innings on three hits and two walks with three Ks.

Cody Freeman was two for four with a walk and a homer. Luisangel Acuna and Dustin Harris each had a pair of hits and a stolen base. Angel Aponte had a triple. Keithron Moss had a single and a stolen base.

Hickory sent High-A East Pitcher of the Week Justin Slaten to the mound for the start. Slaten allowed five runs on seven hits and a walk in four innings, with five Ks.

Justin Foscue continued his mashing since returning from injury, with a double and a homer. Blaine Crim had a single and a homer.

Ronny Henriquez allowed a pair of runs on four hits, including a homer, in five innings with five strikeouts. Hever Bueno threw two scoreless innings.

Josh Stowers had a two out, two run walkoff home run to give Frisco the win. Josh Jung had a pair of doubles. Bubba Thompson had a pair of hits. Steele Walker and Anderson Tejeda each had a hit and a walk.

Hyeon-jong Yang allowed three runs in five innings. Ryder Ryan threw two scoreless innings. Demarcus Evans and Scott Engler each threw a scoreless inning. Yonny Hernandez had two hits.

The ACL Rangers had Damian Mendoza start. He went 5 IP, allowed three runs on five hits (including a homer) and a walk, striking out two. Anthony Hooplii-Tuionetoa faced four batters, striking out one, walking two and allowing a hit. Emiliano Teodo allowed a run on two hits with two Ks in 1.2 IP. Luke Schiltz allowed three runs on two hits and a walk in 0.2 IP.

Davis Wendzel continued his rehab assignment with a two for four night with a home run. Maximo Acosta had a double. Jesus Moreno had a single and a double. Hunter Bryan had two walks and a stolen base.
