Good morning, LSB.

The Rangers lost a flush-away game yesterday in which they gave up all of the home runs.

The DMN’s game story has quotes from Chris Woodward about the butt-kicking (his words).

There’s also a story about Jonah Heim returning to play in a stadium 12 miles away from his hometown.

The Rangers’ website also has notes about Jonah Heim being from Buffalo.

On The Athletic, Levi Weaver talks big Sam Huff power and how Jonah Heim is from Buffalo.

In non Jonah-Heim-is-from-Buffalo news, Evan Grant has a nice piece up behind the DMN paywall that really drives home how the Rangers got exactly who they wanted with their #2 overall draft pick.

On that note, Jim Bowden lists the Rangers as one of the draft’s big winners.

The Rangers’ website has some housekeeping/injury updates.

And 2B prospect Justin Foscue had himself a night for the Crawdads in their absolute route of the Aberdeen IronBirds.

That’s all for this morning. The Rangers and Blue Jays will play what is hopefully a more tightly contested game today at 2:07. Have a good weekend!
