Good morning, LSB.

The Rangers lost their ninth in a row yesterday and completed their reverse-sweep of the Detroit Tigers, who, if you want a silver lining, have almost certainly played their way out of any serious tank contention with Texas.

The DMN’s Joseph Hoyt has three big questions the Rangers are to answer as they attempt to avoid a double-digit losing streak.

The Rangers will hopefully be attempting to answer the last of those questions with their call-up of first base prospect Curtis Terry.

Speaking of prospects, Justin Foscue continued his hot streak with three of Hickory’s twenty hits last night.

And MLB Pipeline lists a tradeable prospect for every team.

Elsewhere, Ken Rosenthal says the Padres made a push for former Ranger Nelson Cruz before he was ultimately dealt to the Rays (Rosenthal also adds an Ian Kennedy blip).

And Dan Szymborski has some trade deadline proposals, one of which sends Gallo to the Brewers.

That’s all for this morning. The Rangers fire up a series against the hated Astros tonight at 7:10 and look to snap their losing streak. Happy Friday.
