MLB: Texas Rangers at Houston Astros Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning, LSB.

The Rangers continued their streak of futility and lost to the Astros 7-3 last night.

The FWST has a game story up! (: All about how much the Rangers have sucked. ):

Evan Grant has notes from the loss but mostly on Rangers new call-up Curtis Terry, who made his Major League debut last night.

Levi Weaver also has a story up on Terry, who “brings joy to wherever he is.”

As does Stefan Stevenson, who writes that Terry’s presence isn’t meant to turn around the team’s fortunes but instead bring some “fresh life” to the clubhouse.

Elsewhere, Evan Grant writes that the Rangers have suddenly become “more aggressive” in their attempts to extend Joey Gallo.

And Jim Bowden answers some deadline questions, including a couple on teams with interest in Rangers players.

That’s all for this morning. The Rangers continue their series with the Astros and try to slam the brakes on their ten-game losing streak tonight at 6:10. Have a good weekend!
