Down East sent Nate Krauth out for the start. Krauth went five innings, allowing three runs on four hits (including a home run) and two walks, striking out four. Marc Church struck out two in a scoreless inning, and now has a 2.42 ERA for the Ducks.
Dustin Harris doubled. Keithron Moss and Randy Florentino singled.
Hickory was supposed to finish their suspended game from Friday and then play the regularly scheduled game. Instead, both were rained out. Better luck Sunday.
Frisco won a tight 3-2 game on Saturday. A.J. Alexy started and struck out five and walked five in 4.2 IP, but allowed just two hits and a lone run on a solo homer. He now has a 1.59 ERA on the season. Ronny Henriquez allowed one run in four innings of work, striking out eight and allowing three hits while not walking anyone.
Josh Jung went three for four with a double, pushing his OPS up to 902. Steele Walker homered.
Drew Anderson, who is having a very nice year for Round Rock and could get asked to throw some innings at some point in the majors this year, struck out six and allowed three hits in six shutout innings, lowering his ERA on the year to 3.15. Jacob Lemoine allowed a run on two hits and a walk while striking out one in 0.2 IP. Jimmy Herget allowed a run on two hits in 1.1 IP, striking out two.
Leody Taveras singled, homered, drew two walks and stole two bases. Nick Solak had a hit.
ACL Rangers were rained out again on Saturday.
