Round Rock was supposed to play two in Reno after Sunday’s game was banged due to unhealthy air conditions, but the conditions were such Monday that they only played one. They will try to get two in on Tuesday.

Hyeon-jong Yang gave up 5 runs in 5.1 IP, with 4 walks, 3 Ks and seven hits. Scott Engler gave up a pair of runs on two walks and two hits in 0.2 IP. Luis Ortiz was apparently hexed by me mentioning him as a possible callup candidate, as he retired just one batter while allowing four runs on three hits and a walk. Jacob Lemoine allowed a hit in 0.1 IP.

Leody Taveras homered. Yohel Pozo had a single and a homer. Nick Solak had three hits.

Emiliano Teodo struck out three in a scoreless inning.

Sherten Apostel, continuing his rehab assignment, walked twice and struck out three times.
