Good morning, LSB.
The Rangers beat the A’s last night by a score of 8-6, led by a two hit night by catcher/DH Yohel Pozo in his Major League debut.
Pozo says he was feeling the emotions while running the bases after hitting his first career MLB homer.
Elsewhere, Evan Grant posted his updated top 20 Rangers prospects list after the team’s “busy July.”
Jeff Wilson talked to Jon Daniels to get his thoughts on some on-the-cusp type prospects as September approaches.
The Rangers got a pair of strong performances from a couple of minor league arms last night.
And finally, Levi Weaver has a profile up on each of the legends that will be inducted into the Rangers’ Hall of Fame today, the first on stadium PA Chuck Morgan and the second on third baseman Adrian Beltre. Congrats to both.
That’s all for this morning. The Rangers will continue their series with the A’s tonight at 6:05 with Hall of Fame festivities kicking off beforehand. Have a good weekend!
