The Texas Rangers scored a run but the Seattle Mariners scored three runs.
Taylor Hearn has now started five big league baseball games and three of them have come against the Mariners. But the start tonight was arguably the best one that Hearn has put together in his career so far.
The Royse City native tossed a career high five innings and allowed two runs on five hits, zero walks, and a couple of strikeouts.
Unfortunately for Hearn, the Rangers could only muster a single run at the plate so he’s still winless as a starting pitcher.
Player of the Game: Andy Ibanez hit a dinger.
Up Next: The one millionth game between the Rangers and Mariners just this month alone will take place with RHP Mike Foltynewicz set to face off against LHP Marco Gonzales tomorrow evening. Wednesday’s first pitch from The Shed is scheduled for 7:05 pm CT.
