42-80 - Rangers have a bad time in Boston, lose opener 6-0

A beating in Beantown

MLB: Texas Rangers at Boston Red Sox Bob DeChiara-USA TODAY Sports

The Texas Rangers did not score a run while the Boston Red Sox did (six of them, in fact).

Tonight’s baseball game did not go well.

Dane Dunning wasn’t very good.

The offense didn’t score and left seven on base.

The team has lost four in a row.

Player of the Game: DJ Peters made a nifty catch against the Green Monster.

Up Next: The Rangers and Red Sox are back at it tomorrow evening with RHP Jordan Lyles set to make the start for Texas against LHP Eduardo Rodriguez for Boston. Saturday’s first pitch from Fenway Park is scheduled for 6:10 pm CT.
