Good morning, LSB.

The Rangers lost to the A’s last night, 4-1 in extra innings. The DMN’s game story highlights a strong performance from Mike Foltynewicz.

Chris Woodward says that Folty has “righted the ship.”

Levi Weaver has five questions still to be answered this season, a couple of which pertain to what was originally the starting middle infield for the 2021 Texas Rangers.

Evan Grant has been in North Carolina for most of the week and has some reports from the Rangers’ High-A affiliate Hickory Crawdads.

Pitcher Drew Anderson is up with the big league club and is set to make his first Major League start since 2018.

Mac Engel has a nice, non-trolling piece on Ian Kinsler playing for Israel in the Olympics.

And Cole Winn dominated last night and was named a top prospect performer for Friday — as was a notable former Rangers farmhand. :(

That’s all for this morning, the Rangers continue their series with the A’s today at 3:07 with Aussie Drew Anderson on the mound. Have a good weekend!
