Monday Morning Texas Rangers Update

At least the Texas Rangers can’t lose today

Good morning. Only 50 games left for the 2021 Texas Rangers. They need to win 24 of ‘em to avoid the first 100-loss season for this franchise since 1973.

MLB dot com’s Justice delos Santos writes about the Rangers getting swept in Oakland following a 6-3 loss to the A’s on Sunday.

The DMN’s Ben Ross writes that Isiah Kiner-Falefa had a breakout day at the plate despite the 14th consecutive road loss for Texas.

Santos names Adolis Garcia as the Ranger with something to prove in the final two months of the 2021 season.

Things are going poorly for the big league club but Evan Grant writes that the Rangers are getting rave reviews for their arms at Hickory in the minor leagues.

And, in I’m not so sure that this is wise news, the Dallas Cowboys turned to the Rangers for advice for how to deal with quarterback Dak Prescott’s ailing shoulder.

Have a nice day!
