The Texas Rangers scored four runs while the Oakland Athletics scored only three runs.

The Rangers won a series at Oakland Coliseum and completed a long road trip with a record of 6-3. Neither of these things seemed likely considering how this season has gone, especially away from home, and extra especially since Texas started the trip with two losses in a row in Anaheim.

The spirit of Tim Bogar lives on.

Player of the Game: Every Ranger in the lineup had at least one hit today except for Nathaniel Lowe. Isiah Kiner-Falefa’s three hits led the way as the shortstop also scored a run and drove in two of the squad’s four runs.

Up Next: The Rangers return home from the road trip with the Houston Astros awaiting them in Arlington for the final series of the season against their Texas rivals. RHP Spencer Howard is set to make the start for the Rangers in the opener against RHP Jake Odorizzi for the Astros.

Monday night’s first pitch from The Shed is scheduled for 7:05 pm CT.
