The Texas Rangers scored two runs while the Chicago White Sox scored only once.

The White Sox are one of the favorites in the American League and they had a Cy Young contender on the mound in old ace Lance Lynn. The Rangers are one of the favorites to have a top pick in next year’s MLB Draft and had Spencer Howard trying to remember how to be good at pitching on the mound.

Of course, as everyone expected, the Rangers won 2-1.

Player of the Game: Andy Ibanez had a couple of hits and scored a run in his first game back since the end of August.

Up Next: The Rangers and White Sox close out this series with a rubber match with RHP Jordan Lyles set to make the start for Texas in the finale against RHP Lucas Giolito for Chicago. Sunday’s first pitch from The Shed is scheduled for 1:35 pm CT.
