Minor league update for 9/18/21

Down East started Nate Krauth, who allowed four runs on ten hits and two walks in five innings, striking out two. Connor Sechler allowed two runs in three innings, walking two and striking out three. Michael Brewer threw a scoreless inning.

Luisangel Acuna, Aaron Zavala and Daniel Mateo each singled. Cody Freeman drew a pair of walks.

Hickory was rained out.

Ronny Henriquez started for Frisco, allowing three runs on seven hits (two HRs) in 5.1 IP, striking out seven while not walking anyone. Ty Thomas threw 1.2 scoreless. Daniel Robert threw two shutout innings. Blaine Crim homered.

Yerry Rodriguez threw two shutout innings for the Express. Demarcus Evan’s threw one scoreless inning.

Josh Jung had a single, a walk, and a two out ninth inning bases loaded double to bring the go ahead run home. Ryan Dorow and Steele Walker each had a pair of hits. Curtis Terry doubled.
