The Texas Rangers scored two runs while the Chicago White Sox scored seven runs.

The Rangers had the chance to take an unexpected series win against the playoff bound White Sox but it wasn’t to be nor was it even ever close.

The Rangers will have to settle for a 2-5 finish to their second to last homestand of the 2021 season.

Player of the Game: Isiah Kiner-Falefa walked, had a couple of hits, scored a run, and collected an RBI for the Rangers out of the leadoff spot.

Up Next: The pain train continues as the Rangers roll into the station to see Joey Gallo wearing pinstripes for a series against the Yankees to begin the finale road trip of the season.

RHP A.J. Alexy is next up to make the start for Texas in the opener against LHP Nestor Cortes for New York. Monday night’s first pitch from New Yankee Stadium is scheduled for 6:05 pm CT.
