Good morning. This hasn’t been a good season and the we’ll all be happy to see it end and left to forgotten history, but if you’ll be missing the Texas Rangers over the winter — and let’s face it, you will — there’s only one more road trip and one more homestand left this season so enjoy it while it lasts.
Kennedi Landry writes about the Rangers’ 7-2 series finale loss to the White Sox with notes on Isiah Kiner-Falefa, the rotation for the final two weeks, and Chris Woodward’s thoughts on “winning culture” over higher draft picks.
Speaking of winning culture, Jeff Wilson writes that the Rangers are barreling toward a 100-loss season.
Evan Grant has a piece on the Rangers scout who had a hand in delivering the prospects in the Joey Gallo trade after he came back to the org following a pandemic panic job change.
Wilson writes that the Rangers are next in New York where long time Gallo-backer Woodward will have to square off against the team’s former All-Star slugger.
And, Bubba Thompson and Owen White both landed on the MLB Pipeline top prospect performers list for their stellar efforts from Sunday.
Have a nice day!
