56-98 - Texas comes back from the brink with 8-5 win in Baltimore

The Rangers do some ninth inning heavy lifting to escape loss No. 99

MLB: Texas Rangers at Baltimore Orioles Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports

The Texas Rangers scored eight runs and the Baltimore Orioles scored five runs.

The Rangers won’t go winless in their last road trip of the season at the very least as they scored five runs in the final frame to come back and end a five-game losing skid.

Player of the Game: Nathaniel Lowe hit a two-run home run for his 16th of the season. That’s quite a lot of power for a first baseman for the Texas Rangers.

Up Next: The Rangers will try to take a lead in the series tomorrow night as RHP Jordan Lyles will make the start for Texas in the penultimate away game of the year against RHP Chris Ellis for Baltimore.

Saturday night’s first pitch from Camden Yards is scheduled for 6:05 pm CT.
