Down East forces Game Five, and Round Rock falls in extras

Down East forced a winner-take-all Game Five in their Low-A East Championship Series against Charleston with a 9-3 win on Saturday. Owen White started and went five innings, allowing three runs on seven hits and two walks, striking out three. Destin Dotson went 3.1 scoreless innings, walking three and striking out three.

Keyber Rodriguez had a walk, a single and a homer. Cody Freeman had a pair of hits. Thomas Saggese had a hit and a walk. Aaron Zavala had a pair of walks and a stolen base. Jayce Easley had a had and a stolen base.

Game Five is today at 4:05 p.m. Central

Kohei Arihara started for the Express, allowing eight runs in 3.2 IP. Demarcus Evans threw a scoreless inning. Cole Uvila allowed a run on three hits in 0.1 IP.

Josh Jung and Curtis Terry each had a pair of hits. Davis Wendzel had a double and a homer. Ryan Dorow had a hit and a walk.
