Josh Jung continues to perform, you’ll be happy to know

Mason Englert started for Down East on Friday. Englert went five innings, allowing three runs, striking out five and not walking anyone.

Aaron Zavala had a pair of hits. Luisangel Acuna had three hits. Yenci Pena had a hit and two walks. Daniel Mateo had a hit and a walk. Jayce Easley had a hit and two walks.

Avery Weems started for the Crawdads, going four innings, allowing five runs. He struck out nine, walked four batters, and allowed a home run. Nic Laio allowed a solo home run as his lone run in three innings of work, striking out five. Ezekiel Duran homered and singled.

Hever Bueno threw 1.1 scoreless innings for Frisco on Friday. The Viper threw a scoreless inning with a walk.

Bubba Thompson was 4 for 4 with a double. David Wendzel had a pair of hits. Blaine Crim and Sam Huff each had hits. Justin Foscue and Josh Stowers each walked. J.P. Martinez doubled.

Brock Burke threw a scoreless inning for Round Rock, striking out two. Yerry Rodriguez threw two scoreless, striking out two. Curtis Terry had a single, a homer and a walk. Josh Jung had a double and two walks.

Josh Gessner struck out six while walking one in four scoreless innings for Surprise. Kai Wynyard allowed two runs in three innings, walking three and striking out six. Cam Cauley, Jojo Blackman, Antonio Cabello, and Cody Freeman all had hits. Junior Paniagua had a hit and three walks.
