MLB: Texas Rangers at Los Angeles Angels Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning, LSB.

The Rangers got Shohei’d last night and lost to the Angels 3-2. Evan Grant’s gamestory talks about Glenn Otto battling in his second big league start.

Kennedi Landry also says that Otto showed mettle. I think I always thought that word was spelled ‘metal.’

Landry also has a story on the up-and-down season of Nathaniel Lowe.

Grant has some hot charts on which of the Rangers hitters fare the best against elite MLB pitching.

Levi’s Weaver Wire discusses the possible Leody resurgence and what happens when all of the Rangers’ starting pitchers are ready to be re-activated.

And TR Sullivan has part two of his look back at the career of Ivan Rodriguez.

That’s all for this morning. The Rangers continue their series with the Angels tonight at 8:07 with Kolby Allard on the mound for Texas. Have a good weekend!
