Baseball Prospectus has their midseason top 50 prospect list out, and the Texas Rangers are well represented at the top of the list.

Wyatt Langford, the University of Florida outfielder who the Texas Rangers selected at #4 in the MLB Draft earlier this month, and whose signing is expected to be announced in a press conference today, is #5 on the on the Baseball Prospectus list. He is one slot behind Dylan Crews, the #1 overall pick, and one spot ahead of Paul Skenes, the #2 overall pick.

Evan Carter, meanwhile, is at #11 overall on the BP list. Carter appears to be pretty solidly a consensus top 10-15 guy at this point, though as BP notes, concerns about his exit velocities and power potential have folks limiting his ceiling somewhat compared to some other players.

At the end of the top 50 write ups, BP lists their players who are the next ten on the list. That includes two more Rangers — Luisangel Acuna at #59 and Sebastian Walcott at #60.
